Felipe Motta Appointed Director of Motorsport.com - BRAZIL

Motorsport.com, a Miami based global technology and multimedia company, today announced it has signed an agreement with www.TotalRace.com.br, Brazil’s second-largest provider of online auto racing news and content.

“There is a significant opportunity for the Motorsport.com brand in Brazil and I'm delighted to announce our partnership with TotalRace.com.br,” said Charles Bradley, Editor in Chief, Motorsport.com. “Brazil has a proud motorsport heritage, including such racing legends as Formula One World Champions Nelson Piquet, Emerson Fittipaldi, and Ayrton Senna. Our entry into this market will position Motosport.com as the go-to source for the most comprehensive motor racing content in South America.

“This joint venture brings us one step closer in our aggressive business strategy of diversification and global expansion into 14 countries in 10 native languages in 2015,” added Bradley. “Our international footprint, including our formal affiliation with F1 and the Grand Prix Drivers Association (gpda.motorsport.com), makes sense for both parties.”

As part of the acquisition, the company announced it has launched Motorsport.com - BRAZIL (www.br.motorsport.com), an all-Portuguese based sister motorsports website which will cover all major racing series in native tongue, including Formula One, Stock Car Brazil, World Endurance Championship, MotoGP, World Rally Championship, FIA Formula E, and NASCAR.

The acquisition expands Motorsport.com’s worldwide global footprint and delivery of online motor sports news content and digital media platforms, including 360-degree broadcasting technology from its sister company 360racing.com.

One of the fastest growing motorsports websites in the world, Motorsport.com is a technically advanced digital distribution platform, which provides worldwide, multimedia motor sports coverage resulting in over 180 countries this year.

Auto Racing editor Felipe Motta Named Director of Motorsport.com – BRAZIL to Oversee Online Content

Motorsport.com announced today that highly respected news editor Felipe Motta has been appointed Director of Motorsport.com – BRAZIL.
Motta’s appointment is effective immediately.

As the leader of Motorsport.com - BRAZIL, he will oversee the local editorial office operations and content policy. The Brazilian editorial office will report directly to Motorsport.com Editor in Chief Charles Bradley who manages the worldwide editorial direction of the brand.

"It is a huge honor to be part of Motorsport.com family,” Motta said. “Brazil has a lot of tradition in motorsports and representing it in the international media is a big challenge for me and my team. Working together with so many fantastic journalists and old friends, such as Jon Noble, Charles Bradley, Kate Walker and Guillaume Navarro is amazing as well."

Motta has been a full-time journalist covering Formula One since 2004. In parallel, he has covered multiple series including IndyCar, DTM, NASCAR and Stock Car Brazil. His extensive media background also includes working as the commentator of FIA Formula E on Fox Sports and Radio Jovem Pan in Brazil.

"We are also happy to give to the Brazilian drivers and series the opportunity to be followed by many fans around the world with our local perspective,” he added. “We had an incredible Stock Car Brazil race here in Goiania with many ex-F1 drivers, and I am quite sure that the fans around the world didn´t know anything about it. Motorsport.com.br will connect fans with these amazing experiences."
