October 19, 2023: The GT and Gran Turismo cars of the Youngtimer Cup by Canossa will put on a show at the Italian Speed Festival held at the Romagna circuit of Misano this weekend.
The common theme that has characterized the first two races, held at Mugello and Vallelunga, remains the same. Will anyone be able to put pressure on Matteo Panini’s British GT, the Marcos Mantis?
Attempting to challenge Panini (Circolo della Biella) are some Turismo cars, beautiful and with different setups, driven by drivers who have already demonstrated their determination in the previous rounds of the Youngtimer Cup.
Among the most formidable opponents of Panini will be Arturo Pucciarelli (Alfa Romeo 156 E1 FIA – Sesa Racing), who with his red car has shown excellent performance in previous races, all in pursuit of a podium finish.
Equally determined have been Massimo Orlandini and Armando De Vuono, who, with the BMW M3 E36 3200 (Motorsport Drive Team), have put on a show at Vallelunga and never backed down from close competition with their rivals.
Giovanni Buganza returns to the track at the Italian Speed Festival with the valuable Alfa Romeo 156 2000 in FIAconfiguration (Xmotor Team). It’s worth noting that in the season’s final race, directly from the Alfa Revival Cup, Roberto Restelli will also be in the mix, driving a 156 2000 FIA for OKP Alfa Delta Racing Team.
The two races will take place on Sunday afternoon and will be preceded by their respective qualifying rounds in the morning. Admission will be free, allowing all enthusiasts to enjoy the Youngtimer Cup competition and the entire Italian Speed Festival live, directly within the paddock and along the trackside.
