October 06, 2023: Interest and registrations for the Italian Speed Festival, organized by Canossa on October 21st and 22nd, continue to rise. This holds true for those eager to take their classic or contemporary cars, including single-seaters, out on the track and for those seeking a fantastic paddock experience filled with exhibitions and races. For spectators – and it’s worth mentioning because there is a demand for ticket purchases – access is free and without charge. It’s pure entertainment.
One of the standout attractions in the paddock is the live coverage of the entire event, led by the popular commentator, Guido Schittone. This includes interviews with key figures and attendees, broadcast on giant screens around the racetrack. Additionally, there will be a series of fascinating sessions in the Theatre of Passion, featuring prominent personalities and experts. These discussions will encompass a range of topics, such as how and what to buy at Classic Car Auctions, how Valentino Rossi’s image has been interpreted in his new store in Tavullia, and the true story behind the birth of the Ferrari 250 GTO, and much more besides.
For those seeking fun away from the track, there’s also a large simulator hall where you can drive without risks, and the Grand Prix Kartpedal, reserved for children aged 5 to 12. It kicks off in the style of Le Mans and may the best racer win. Expect prizes, podium celebrations, and live interviews.
Additionally, in the paddock, there will be the Ferrari Concorso d’Eleganza, where the public will have a say in determining judges and winners. Furthermore, there will be exhibitions of Classic and Contemporary cars with awards for the most captivating ones.
As for those who want to venture onto the Pit Lane and be part of the action on the track – and there are plenty of these enthusiasts coming – there are three options. You can register for driving sessions with your own car, be it contemporary or classic, each lasting 25 minutes. Alternatively, take advantage of the “Free Laps”, called “Fun on Track”, which can be timed and documented upon request. And for those who prefer to be in the passenger seat, don’t miss the opportunity for a Hot Laps in the Dallara Stradale.
Last but certainly not least, the international racetrack will also host races with the Alfa Revival Cup Final, the Youngtimer Cup Final, and an exciting showdown featuring competition Ferraris in the Cavallino Classic Cup.
It’s settled! Mark your calendar for the October 21 and 22, as the Italian Speed Festival at the Misano World Circuit promises an unmissable experience for all.
